Works well My criteria for a flashlight of this type is grip comfort battery life and beam quality. The light is brighter than most cheap large flashlight and it's design makes it perfect for many different jobs. Plus you can have on on the flashlight and one on the drill. I originally spent $40 for the collection of tools and now I find out the Flashlight was worth $30 by itself. With the low draw from the flashlight this can last a long time between charges. Surprisingly the flashlight was the best purchase of all. Not a bad flashlight but it came with a toolset I had purchased and I probably would not have gotten it as a separate item. All Black and Decker products that my friend has run on same battery pack he swears by the quality of them so when his old one broke I decided to buy him a new one for his birthday coming up in October. Black and Decker is the cheapest of all multitool to one battery brand. Great Light But no Cheap Bulbs I bought my Firestorm 18 Volt as part of a set. The grip on this light is comfortable but the battery makes it pretty heavy to carry for any length of time. Good if you already have the batteries The light is reasonably bright and sitting it on the battery which becomes the base is stable. I suggest one save their money but the flash light is still pretty good for the money. It runs for a very long time on a fully charged battery. There will come a time when you need to use it and the main battery is dead....
