Black & Decker TR1256B 2 slice toaster is unevenly toasting bagels Yes. Black & Decker is a cheap toaster, but I won't spend my money again on it. It just not worth it. Just save more cash and get another toaster, a more expensive and a reliable one. I encountered the same problem using this Black&Decker toaster. You have to be careful with this toaster because it get too hot even put on the first set and don't leave the place until the appliance cools down no matter what. Nobody wants a toaster that burns the bottom the bagel and leaved the top uncooked. Indeed it is, but the biggest issue is the toasting, the main purpose of a toaster.
