I have alot more stories that have happened, like a eighty year old cottonwood tree falling through my house during a storm, both of my parents were struck by lightening, (my father was hurt a bit, but both recovered). Having been raised in tornado alley, I have great respect for storms, but also know how to watch and listen and be prepared to find shelter. One of the scariest was an F4 (some say F5) tornado that tore through my town in Louisiana in the late 70′s. We knew people in the path that Gary England was telling us it would go. We called people and told them to please take shelter. Andy has though… HOWEVER…… Living in the Houston area, hurricanes are the SCARIEST THINGS EVAH. I have thought about it, and while part of my really wants to do that, there’s another part that says “No way. Still want to be a storm chaser though. I’m not a stranger to serious storms, but I like to hunker down, if I can—not Andy and I took the kiddos to my grandparents house, because we lived in a manufactured home at the time.
