Bosch Jobsite Radio: Home Tested and Reviewed

If you are looking for a reliable jobsite radio that can take a beating and continue to pump out tunes, then you might think about looking into the line of Bosch radio models available online and at your local home improvement stores. With the motto of “Use anywhere, play anywhere, charge anywhere, play anything,” Bosch has a lot to live up to, add to that the beating that jobsite equipment can get and these radios can really be put to the test. Labeled under Power Box or Bosch radio, you can find new and refurbished models on Amazon as well. Overall I would say that, although this stereo is a bit on the expensive side, it is one of the better quality jobsite radios on the market. Resistant to inclement weather, sealed to keep out dust and water, these heavy duty sound systems are equipped to play anything from XM radio to MP3 players. Also, there is no need to worry about your cell phone getting wet or dirty because this radio comes with a unique sealed compartment just for that purpose. This radio was tough. Whether thrown in the back of the pickup or sitting around at work it was near impossible to knock over, and even if it did it has a unique roll cage that protected it. The sound is really great, the 4-way speakers really work and put out a nice... The PB360D comes equipped with 4-way GFCI outlets, I wouldn’t recommend plugging in your power tools to this, but they are great for charging your cell phone or power tool battery. No CD player, although CD’s aren’t real safe around the jobsite anyway, this can be seen as a setback to some.
