In contrast to its predecessor model the KTS 670 now features a new higher specification Dual-channel oscilloscope &multimeter for voltage, resistance current & scope measurements. The Esitronic software as well as the updates that are delivered every three months are transferred onto the hard disk of the KTS 670 by an external DVD drive. The Bosch Esitronic software is run on the Windows XP operating system and is stored on the upgraded 40 GB hard disk of the new PC module integrated into the KTS 650. The Dual-channel oscilloscope provides 1x10 Mega Samples or 2x5 Mega Samples. Channel 1 is also potential-free, channel 2 is potential-bound, both have a high input impedance. Channel 1 on the oscilloscope can be operated at the same time as the control unit diagnostics allowing the signal from the components and the associated actual value at a glance.
