The Opti-sim feature info fails to mention that ONE burner is low, and it's the small 5500 BTU back burner. But no extra-low simmer on the majority of the burners, and if you have propane, you're not getting the 18,000 BTUs you thought. I purchased the 36", 5-burner Bosch 800 series cooktop. I was looking for a powerful center burner for boiling pasta water, and a low simmer feature (which I had on my old DCS and loved). The center burner is advertised as 18,000 BTUs. Bosch needs clearer sales info up front.
