This light pumps out bright white light, in any direction, and lasts several days per charge for me (I work 8-10 hour days as an HVAC tech). that is, the minimalist design makes for a very small package, relative to the hours of bright light it can provide. The magnet isn’t quite strong enough to hold the light on some of the narrower edges of equipment I usually service, but it is still handy. A great accessory if you already are using 12V DeWalt Li-Ion, maybe a little pricey if bought standalone (requiring you to also purchase a battery and charger). My dad got me thing along with a DeWalt 12v Li-Ion combo kit for x-mas.
