The hose that comes with the Deluxe DD is perfect for the DD on top of Mini scheme. Not as abrasive as your concrete work, but this shows that they're not just for small woodworking sanders as the vac and cyclone easily handle what the floor sander is putting out. (That supplied hose is very similar to the Ridgid hose from H Depot. With both methods the hose between vac and DD can shoot straight into the Mini/Midi without that CFM restricting elbow. I put my regular DD on top of my Mini. It works a lot better than it sounds but it is tall and I would like to be able to stack Systainers on top of the vac so I might adapt your idea. It is stiffer and makes a larger radius bend [better for air flow] than the Shop Vac hose. I also hook my Festool CT-22 and UDD up to my Clarke 8" Floor Sander to collect dust.

Dem Liechtensteiner Bautechnologie-Konzern Hilti macht der harte Franken zu schaffen.
