So having had this saw for a few years and using it, I wanted another when I needed to replace it. The only con in it’s use and construction that I’ve found is, if you wear heavy gloves (like in the Winter) and have larger hands, the D handle can... I don’t think Makita factored in large bulky gloves in the ergonomics design and use. Plenty of power with a sense of control, it’s hard not to like it. Actually, I purchased this to replace the same make / model because someone liked it ‘too much’. Being a professional carpenter for over twenty years, I’ve used my share of reciprocating saws. This saw, hands down, cuts the smoothest. You’ll smile the first time you use this, it cuts so smooth and fast.
