cordless phone batteries: Metabo Cordless Annular Cutter
This is the new Metabo Cordless Annular Cutter. It's the first and currently (10/21/11) the only cordless annular cutter available. As you'll see the magnet is NOT powered by the battery, so if the battery goes dead, it won't fall. 2V Li-Ion battery, 45 minute charge time, and it comes with two batteries and a spot to mount the spare on the tool so you don't have to stop what you're doing and fetch the spare. VERY impressed in this tool. This drill will be available in the US around January or February of 2012. The magnet also has 2500lbs of holding force.
