I've had this Metabo hammer drill for over 10 years and used it extensively for drilling holes in concrete, using large diameter hole saws, ships augers, and drilling in general. Another nice feature is that when the motor brushes wear out they have designed a a feature that prohibits the brass brush carrier from hitting against the commutator saving considerable repair expense. I really like the "soft start" feature in the electronic control. I HIGHLY recommend this drill for professional daily use of for those part timers who appreciate outstanding German quality machine tools.
