The battery charges fine, holds a charge fine and for $13 you cannot beat it. Someone told me they wouldn't buy a battery like this because they don't trust the quality and prefer to get the Canon battery and not deal with worrying about it failing. I saw a $70 1500 mAh Canon battery at a well known electronics store after I purchased this $13 2000mAh battery. You save almost $20 and even if one or two fail you still saved your self money and gained a battery or two. I was a tiny bit hesitant to use a battery that was not from Canon but for the price it was impossible to resist.
