True, this trimmer isn’t made for heavy-duty use (I suppose 4 tall arbs and 20 boxwoods are a bit much for any battery-operated trimmer), but it does last a good 2 hours on-and-off before needing to be charged. Just have to read the spec for how thick a stem can be in order for this product to cut it. I would recommmend this product to everyone. Beats trying to use a hedge clipper in tight spaces. If you like to do fine clipping of your shrubs (e. g, boxwoods or topiary) this is the tool for you. I trim my 4 spiral arbs (two of which are over 12′ tall) and they turn out looking like velvet. IT WORKED BEAUTIFULLY AND QUICKLY TO GIVE ME A WELL KEPT LAWN IN RECORD TIME. ONCE I FIGURED OUT HOW TO OPERATE THE PRODUCT I WAS QUICKLY OUTSIDE CLIPPING MY OVERGROWN SHRUBS AND BUSHES. The only con I can think of: I wish it would come with a backup battery to be charged while using the other one. Out of the box it was so light, giving the impression it wasn’t made well and wouldn’t hold up to too much trimming. I also gave my 20 boxwoods a trim using it. Again, it cut them beautifully and effortlessly. The battery is very strong and really holds a charge.
